Welcome at East Entrance

Welcome to the new web site for the City of Clarkston! Our goal for this site is to provide helpful information in an easy to use format. You will find many of the forms and applications you need, a calendar of events, news about current happenings in the City and information about all the City departments.

Nestled at the confluence of the Snake and Clearwater Rivers in southeast Washington, Clarkston is the gateway to North America's deepest gorge, Hells Canyon. Beautiful scenic vistas, a mild climate, year-round recreation, an inland seaport and rich history abound. Named for William Clark of the historic Lewis and Clark Expedition, Clarkston invites you to follow the footsteps of the famous explorers into an area rich in opportunities.

The river valley's warm climate enables residents and visitors to enjoy year-round outdoor activities such as golf, fishing and walking the trails along the beautiful Snake River. Sparkling area rivers and creeks beckon you outside where cruise ships, jet boat rides, boating, water skiing, rafting and world famous steelhead, chinook and trout fishing await. Nearby forest lands provide hunters with deer, elk and game birds.

We invite you to explore all of Clarkston's natural bounty and small town warmth. Please refer to the directory for general information, specific questions and special links. Check out some of the links below to learn more about the Clarkston area.
